Got out to the track this past weekend to test some changes on the car. The big change was a re-tuning of the engine. Made a tad more HP with a LS6 intake manifold, but the big improvement was the throttle response. Without going into a lot of details the first tuner took a short cut with the tune and had the engine running using the MAF sensor only. The MAF isn't very accurate at low air flows or transitions. So the car felt like a new car and really puts me back in the seat now. The other big change was a new Torsen diff. Trying to eliminate the clutch disk wear in the Traction-lok that creates more axle end play, and for me, pad knock back.
As usual the car drew a lot of attention, which still amazes me with all the other cool cars at these events.

Awesome vid.
Boy do I wish it was warm enough to get out on the track here in the north east.
Any plans to do the tour of the country again?

Thanks. I just watched your scoopy first start video. Now that is a work of art. I really enjoyed it. Where did you get the remote reservoirs for that car.

Thanks for posting your laps JC. I enjoyed watching them and the fact you didnt edit out the two off's you had shows your real. I am envious of your coupe build because I built the roadster for doing DE's and found out its not up to safety around here in the north east (broomstick rule). Now I want to do a coupe like you have done so well. For now I am content with the 944 for my DE's but might sell the roadster to finance a new LS1 coupe for next year track season. Hope to get lots of set up and tuning advice from you when it happens. Kevin

That is what I did. Sold my roadster and V8 RX-7 to fund the coupe build. Would be glad to help if you go down that road.
