I have searched and this picture from the FFR Assembly manual, is the best I have found on this subject

25841

With the exception of the gearshift and handbrake, I have all the mechanical "stuff" done (including brake lines and coolant lines). Now I've taken my first look at the air filter MAF tube components from my donor, and they will not fit into the available space/configuration.

I'd appreciate any info/advice on the flexible bit of air duct seen in the FFR picture...or any info on short or flexible set-ups that have been (can be used) used by "the build leaders"

Thanks

fred

PS I've left the best for last...the wiring!!! which is next on my list...then the body work

Anybody?...or is it just too dumb a question? A few photos from already running 818's would help me. I'm just not knowledgeable on what kits are out there that will fit in the limited space.

Please... and thanks.

I have a Perrin intake, and it fits quite nicely, so I'm afraid I can't help you. :(

Thanks anyway. Could you post a photo for me, please.

Mine is some odd aftermarket type, and I'll have to get some other type.

Several people, including me, have bought Cobb intakes. No pictures yet since my engine isn't installed yet.

Thanks, now I can check out ones that will fit and spend some more coin.
