I made the plunge today and I'm supper excited to start the build. Specs as follows:
Mk4 black powder coat chassis
5.0L Coyote motor
Tremec TKO 600 (with 0.64 5th)
3 link 8.8" rear with 3.55 gears
Power Steering w/ unisteer 3 turn rack
Willwood masters with FFR/Willwood 6 piston fronts, Mike Forte's 4 piston/internal parking brake (no power assist)
Stainless Headers MFG Coyote stainless headers w/FFR stainless side exhaust (thinking have having the entire system coated with Jet-Hot 1300 polished, thoughts?)
FFR Halibrand Wheels (possibly going to have the centers painted black leaving the polished lip)
Dark grey metallic paint with black stripes
Dual powder coat black roll bars
FFR heat/defrost
FFR oil cooler
FFR front air damn, wind winds, and visors
Forte's front anti-roll bar (Mike is supplying me with a rear bar to develop mounting and adjustment; will use quad shock mounting most likely)
Pick-up date 4/12/13
Cobra Clubman seats which I think were similar to something available at one point years ago from FFR

Rscocca and Jeff Kleiner were very helpful answering my many questions over the last several weeks and Joe S from FFR made it all come together, thank so much guys!!!

I have used the silver but I haven't tried peeling it off yet.

Thank you all for welcoming me to the club, its gonna be a wild ride. CraigS, that's a great idea to use plastidip to test the look. Thanks!

Is the idea of Plastidip that you can peel off? The website doesn't say a lot.
