Hi all, I'm wondering where the top gatherings for FF or other "C-word" car recreations are held. I've been looking at the event held in Ohio in June of 2014, which got me thinking that there are probably others in other parts of the country. I'd like to find something similar to this 3-4 day event where there is a good turnout of owners, and a good geography for some fun cruises. Any and all input/suggestions are welcomed. I would appreciate a bit of an explanation as to "why" you think one is the best one to go to if you can only go to one. Thanks in advance.

Slider, if this is a national search the the Huntington Beach Cruise-In should definitely be on your list. We have a cruise Friday with a dinner after, then an all day show on Main Street in HB on Saturday April 26th. It's all a mighty good dose of the So-Cal beach life!
I also know of some multi-day cruises both here in cali and in Utah, although an invite is sometimes required.

Like David said, HB should be on everyone's bucket list along with the London Cobra Show, FFR Open House and Reptile Round-up. Being here in California I have become spoiled with all of the one, two and three day cruises that I attend; many using the beautiful drive along HWY 1. I would do a search for events using the c***a word and find the ones you like.

I use this for autocross but it may help you too. myautoevents.com. look at the list of event types on the left side and see what pops up. good luck. Also look on this and the other forum for geographic area sub forums.

Mid-July at Road America for the Brian Redman vintage races would be a must-do, too. Lots of real ones there, plus it's a great car show... races at the track, parades and shows in town, etc...

I agree that the London, Ohio show is a must do. Check out youtube if you haven't yet. The highlight of the Saturday events are the charity rides down main street. I don't know of too many places that would allow 80MPH speeds on closed public streets. I have went to the show a couple of times before I had my car and it probably led to the ultimate purchase of my kit. I hope to make it this year with my car if my work/vacation schedule permits.

Absolutely! Go Herd!
It's been fun to watch them over the last few years, and great to go to the games. A bit anxious with the coach moving on, but the new crew seems to be pretty competent as well. We'll see how it goes on the field! All my best.
