Anyone rune wiring to the front of the hot rod this way instead of through the firewall? I wanted to hide as much as possible, had to replace and lengthen some wires but before I lock it all in I wondered if anyone else has done this and if anyone sees any problems down the road. There is plenty of clearance between the frame and body.

I have done the last 3 that way except on the passenger side. I ran the brake and clutch lines on the driver side. Ran the rear harness the same way.

Sweet, Thanks for the reply Mike, now you have me thinking of alternate routes for the rear harness. I was going to run it on the interior side of the transmission tunnel through the rear sheet metal. I am going to fabricate a center console that will cover it. Were you using the ron francis harness or something else?

I used a painless harness. Too hard to get the Ron harness to look neat without taking the whole thing apart.

How much room between the body and frame would you say?

Thanks Michael. That tunnel I assume is 1" deep x 3"wide then? If we said that 3" started at the firewall, how far back would you keep things as not to interfere with the body at the firewall?
