That harness to me appears to be the rear harness for the car. You'll need some of it for the tail lights and fuel pump.

Dont need the fuel purge solenoids and all that stuff. I would separate the harness to see why you really need. Cut out all the yellow then see what's left Nd identify it before junking it. If you have an 06 my wiring guide will help. If its not an 06 the guide will be a good reference but not a direct comparison.

I printed it out and went through your posting, some things did not match but it gave me a great place to start with, thanks! I just have to find a day to sit down and to start to go through it and see how it goes.

You should be able to get model year specific wire diagrams if you search the Internet for wrx manual
