i've been thinking about when the car is done and taking it places like car shows. I have 2 other show cars
and at times they are dead at the end of the day. I think it would be more handy having a rear trunk lid
with access to the battery so i could jump it easier. what do you all think?

Mine's in the back. Also, when you jump it, you could connect the positive lead directly to the starter. So, it wouldn't really matter where you mount your battery.

I want mine in the front for weight distribution. I don't know why it would go dead at a show or any where else. I'll leave the battery tender on it during the winter.

The hood comes off quite easily if you needed to jump the car. Mine is in the back because it's a very small battery.

Front = better weight distribution but forces you to use longer cables which will be more taxing to the starting circuit. Rear = shorter cable runs but a less desirable position for the weight. Pick your poison. I'm also curious about what a show would have to do with the battery being dead????

Mine is in the back, cable is short, AGM battery weighs 12 lbs. Weight distribution in my car is 40.3 F/59.7 R.

I'll put mine in the back cuz up front I will have my 3gal coolant tank for the AWIC. I just hope there is enough space behind the rad and not in the way of the air flow from the fans.

The car isn't very big, nor is the engine, It will crank easily with a normal gauge battery cable, My Mustang has the battery in the rear with a longer cable and cranks easily.

Easier to access from the front. If located in the rear you could also install remote terminals. The location doesn't have an impact on performance in any way.
