Help and clarity needed. I am using fixed back bucket seats and mounting as low as I can. I assume I will have bolt heads protruding on the underside of the car from where I mount the seat's side mounts to the frame. Is there a concern that they will not be flush on the underside?

For the OEM seat belts, wagon version, where and how should the lower mounting point be secured? Should it not be secured to the seat bracket, but directly to the frame? Same question for the receiver portion of the seat belt. Thank you in advance, as a rookie, I want to get this right.

Erik THE FLASH Treves' build thread has the info on pictures and written.

Somewhere in the last few pages of this thread. I'm gonna need that info too as my donor is wagon.

The bolt head or nut on the underside of the vehicle should not cause any problems that I am aware of. I always try to attach seat belts to a frame location.

The bolts for the fuel tank are exposed on the underside as well. I also used nuts and bolts for my lower rear firewall instead of rivets. I installed all these from the bottom up, so only the bolt head, not the nut and extra bolt, hangs down. I'll also be installing fixed back seats and harnesses and will try to orient the mounting bolts from the bottom, if possible. Worst case, if it bottoms out and the hardware is damaged, this orientation makes a fix easier.

Thank you for the replies. As a first time builder the community's help has made my build much smoother than it would be otherwise. Thank you again.
