Huntington Beach Surf Session????

Wonder if anyone is bringing their boards to the car show. Would be cool if we could catch some waves early Saturday morning. Anyone think this is a cool idea? I haven't surfed in 10 years but would love to get wet and try to catch a nice peek. :cool:

I know that Dave and I believe his daughters surf. Dave grew up in the area and speaks often about surfing near the pier.

Im hoping that Dave wants to try and lead this up. Hit the water early early and surf some waves. I don't have my board anymore so would have to see if someone has an extra.

This year's Huntington Beach show is being planned right now. Unlike last year, and every single time I've ever visited my old home break, I will not be able to surf this year as I am scheduled for hip surgery. Last year, Greg Hoy and I scored some fun waist-high waves just north of the pier at first light on Sunday morning.

Dave P. - I'll be happy to cruise down to the water with you if you're up for a dawn patrol, but I'll be the guy on the beach with crutches.

Yep, never know what the ocean will provide!!! I have to also see if I can fit into my wetsuit, as I have gained some weight lol. But want to try to and get wet for sure. I hope the rental boards are nice. Don't want to surf some foam .... thick... RV board.

Lucky…when are you heading to HB and what route. We are leaving PHX about 8am with two Cobras, each on a trailer. Join us if you can on the drive or dinner fri/sat. I am the DJ for the event so I am not taking my Cobra. Look for me at the DJ event or hook up on the drive. Dinner Friday night too?

Im not going to be able to make it this year. We are very short on Soldiers in my office and they are not willing to part with me until July...not even for a long weekend.
