How long does it take once I place an order to receive the kit?

Hello! I'm new to the community and I'm looking to build a roadster. I'd like to start my project car next January, so how long does it take Factory Five to process and ship out the car? When should I place my order?

From the phone call to make the order, to me picking it up was exactly one month. If you're having it delivered, expect two to three times longer wait, dependent on where you live. If you're going to start wrenching the day you get it, I would suggest you tell them that you will take delivery of it when they have all the parts, with nothing on back order. I'm stuck on my build because of a few key missing components.

I ordered one last week and could have had it early March. I pushed my pick up to 4/5/14.

I would give the factory a call August/September to place the order and ask for pickup mid December to assure early January delivery. They will work with you on your desired pick-up date and an early call will reserve your place in the order process.
