Awesome news Chuck!
The next couple of months are going to take forever!!
However, the planning process will be exciting, and getting everything ready for the new addition will be fun too.
Welcome.

I am located south of Rochester, NY near Conesus Lake. Reading everyones build post as I come with the list of modifications I want to make. Mostly cosmetic.

Awesome! Are you going to pick it up? That was a nice and close delivery date. You know, if you need a place to store one of your vettes I have a nice big garage you could put it in.

Going to have to do some housekeeping and move the Jag project around to make room. If I need more room I'll let you know. :) I could have had it a few weeks earlier, but figured I needed to wait for Walt to get home, so I could use his help and expertise to go get it.

My order to pickup date was exactly one month. I guess I was a lucky one. (Maybe slower winter sales) I have some crucial parts that are on backorder. Its driving me crazy having to wait!!!! No steering rack, no rear shocks, no tank straps, and a slew of other smaller hardware parts. Hope they get here soon. If I were to do it again, I wouldnt pick it up until they had all the parts for me.

Based on some of the other builds I have been monitoring on the forum, I think I am going to do the interior panels in the engine bay, etc. in black powder coat. Thinking about the Lizard Skin in the trunk, under the interior. Thinking of going with the hydraulic clutch and power brakes. Still not sure on the brakes. Would welcome comments on this one.

You can search the Forums and find lots of info on the manual vs power brakes. I think it boils down to not needing power brakes if you use the large rotor Wilwoods on the rear to get the additional braking there. After that, its about the feel and pedal effort.

Thanks. I did go for the Wilwood upgrade on the front and back. I'll do a search on the forum.
