View Full Version : Pin Drive Parts Needed
I just ordered a complete roadster kit with the pin drive IRS. I was told that I need some axle assembly parts from a Thunderbird. Which parts exactly do I need? Where can I get them? What's a ball park figure for parts in like-new condition (I don't want to have to refurbish them from a rusty pile)?

You need the knuckles. Here is a pic:

You can scrounge them up at a pick-a-part, get them used or just pull the trigger from the link above.

From the FFR website: the parts you will need are "The center section, CV joints, hubs, brakes, and spindles are all from the extremely common late 80's to mid 90's Ford"

Oops, yeah, forgot those parts. I wonder if you can substitute full axle assemblies instead of just the axles? You might ask about that...
