Other than the low mounted twin roll bars and the lowered headlights, anyone know the particulars on the Special Edition 33 FFR announced today ?

That was quite the design by the Design guy at Hot Rod! :)

Yeapers!!! pretty cool. I should have saved the newsletter.....duh.

What's got me curious is the shape of the fenders, especially the rear ones.

Wow....... I like this alot. The dual roll bars are sharp. The lights being lower is nice to help conceal them a little

I didn't see anything on this at all. Where can I read about it?

They just mention it in the e mailed news letter. There was no write up with details.

Apparently is will have a Chevy LT1 engine & those look like Langs fenders.

Looks like a Corvette (C7 rims, GM small block motor, large brakes maybe from a Camaro or Corvette) / 33 Factory Five Hot Rod. An I.R.S. would be killer! The lowered twin hoop design and the lowered headlights is a nice touch! I did not care for the hoops on the Plymouth Prowler unless they were filled in with a headrest. I found them distracting to the eye.

I did not think Factory Five Racing build cars for customers. This was confirmed today. In all fairness, I have SIGNIFICANTLY less disposable income than GM (33) & Snap On Tools (818). Hence, I am not yet an owner.

I am very exited about the FFR / GM project. That being said I sent the attached request to Chevy on August 21, 2012 at 1:09:29 PM EDT…

Note: I have removed my phone number and blurred my full email address.

To clarify the above post, its not FFR that I am frustrated with. FFR would have had no way of knowing my previous communications with GM. If I had the disposable income I would have completed a custom FFR 33 build myself in 2012 or 2013.
