Just getting started! Need an engine builder

Just ordered the kit and we have been tearing down the donor car for a few weeks now. My son and I are looking for a good, but reasonable engine rebuilder that can go through our donor 302 and add about 100 HP.
Anyone have any recommendations in the So Cal area that won't break the bank?
