When I had the body shop, I had a customer come in and see two of my FFR's sitting in the shop and made the same basic comment that you did. Are you him? Where in PA are you located?

With your skill, part supply and knowledge you should be able to recover your out of pocket plus 5-8k. You need to build really clean and stay close to the basic program and not re-engineer the project. The second one is gonna cost ya (just like drugs). You will save time having already built one. The problem comes when the second one is yours and you have been hanging around the forums for a while. Most cases it goes up a notch....a really big notch. I have had the honor of painting a whole bunch of roadsters and have had several second build customers and O'l #2 is the keeper. High and tight and 400HP ...da Bat

if you are asking if you could build two, sell one, and not have any money out of your pocket (meaning the one you want to keep is yours free and clear with zero dollars out of your pocket), not likely. Just being honest as a guy who has done this a few times :D ........
