Hi Kerry! Glad you made a thread. Two 818's in Central Indiana so far!

On your photobucket, when you put the mouse over a picture a small gear pops up in the right hand corner. Put your mouse over the gear and a list pops up. Click on "get links" and select the "IMG Code" link. If you copy and past that link here the pictures show up.

anyone attempting to sort out their harness will appreciate this picture
i have all of the harnesses on my 8' long table with as many devises hooked in as possible

oh where to start on this rats nest. Im thinking of getting rid of all of the abs and yellow airbag wires first
any suggestions before i start?

Label anything you unplug or take apart.

Once you get your kit I'd like to follow your build and visit you as you progress. I'm also in central Indiana and have a passion for cars. The FF Cobra has always caught my eye but as I spend time racing in chumpcar and Lemons the idea of a street / track car like the 818 interests me. Send me a PM if you don't mind connecting. Also - who is the other Central Indiana build? I'm on the northside - I also help to put on this event - www.carmelartomobilia.com. Best of luck with the build.

i will put the event down on my new car shows to attend i have a 67 gto,67 firebird, 63 comet conv, and this 818
will be my first car to build from scratch. it has been fun so far and i learned that 2/22/14 is my new build date due
to adverse weather in Mass. I learned how to post pics here yesterday and will start with more documentation
in feb when I get the chassis . I live near lapel.
kerry

PS craig hudson lives in Brownsburg and does a great job documenting his build

Mechie La More? Like Maclamore - forum humor Thanks for the heads up on his build - I'll follow. any of your other 3 cars may be a good fit for the show. Take a look at the website and see if you have an interest. GLW your build.

i've been studying the electrical diagrams I downloaded from the internet and spent about 1 week marking all of the items on the harness
finally done. I will add lengths when my chassis gets here next month
the harness is not as bad as i first thought when you take one harness at a time and id everything on it

Are you labeling all of the connectors or did you decide to put your harness on a diet? In an earlier post you said you were thinking about deleting the ABS and yellow wires. Did you do it? Did you decide to delete anything else from the harness?

I sent you a PM. Check the notifications link at the top. We could use some more 818's in Indiana. California and New England have too many!
