Does anyone know who owns this hot rod? I would like information on the wheels as well as fender and running board mounting.
Thanks

Someone will recognize it. The truck tags in the background may help, what state has that red white and blue tag?
I think I see a piece of angle iron under the back end of the running board.
My boards have steel fully hidden under them go look in the Gallery for my pics and albums

Thanks for your response guys. I just took delivery of my hot rod and I'm trying to gather as much info as I can on experiences of other builders and lessons learned.
DB - I checked your build postings (nice car) and was impressed with what you came up with. Is the frame assembly bolted or clamped to your frame? Have you considered making these for other for other builders?
Jim, I will send you an email.

The real challenge was making it thin enough to hide but strong enough to carry an adult and make it easy to install all at once. I achieved all of that IMO
To install; You drill 4 holes per side and it bolts on.
I still need to make a clamp for the inboard ends of the front and back tube on the final install. I did make it a little more complicated shape at the front than it had to be but I wanted to support the ends of the fenders as well as carry anyone that stepped on it. It also wouldn't have to have the mesh on top, that was another overkill moment that lets me bed it into the bottom of the boards if I want to bond it together. It's less than $50 worth of material and about an hour of fabrication time in a weld shop. I would love to see FF add a simpler version of it to their running board/fender kit because it seems risky not to support those thin boards over that length. Anyone that wants to mimic it or take it forward as a kit can have it as my way of paying it forward.
Thanks Dave
