Saw this right away when I mounted the headers to my engine a few weeks back and finally put a straight edge on it today. Header output flange is at least 1/2 " out of square with the input flange. I have seen on the forums about having to make shims for minor adjustments but this seems extreme considering what I paid for them from FFR. Any thoughts?24964

Check out your passenger side pipe looking down from above... most likely you'll see that there is a more than 90 degree bend where the collector meets the muffler. Not sure why FFR does this, but in the end, everything lined up on my car and it was exactly what you show in your pic.

I thought mine were made wrong until the sidepipes were mounted, but the RH & LH sidepipes are made differently and will pretty much line up. Trial assemble them and they should be ok.

Side pipes are still on back order. Maybe I have jumped the gun here. Just seemed to be no reason to make the header out of square as there were no clearance issues. Hope I have the same luck you did when fitting the side pipes!

I believe the engine and trans are offset from the chassis centerline, towards the passenger side. Perhaps that's why the header is shorter and angled to compensate?
