Anybody tried a single muffler

Just wondering if anyone has tried a dual in dual out muffler to help eliminate the muffler heat issue. I have a heat barrier, but it still gets a little warm. Not sure if there is room in he rear to use one or not.

Rather than re work the exhaust, it might be easier and cheaper to try a ceramic wrap or even ceramic coating the mufflers ? There are some really good heat barrier products on the market these days.

I wrapped my mufflers and installed a reflective heat barrier on the floor just above the mufflers and the pipe between the headers and muffler and there is not much of a heat problem. Looks a little shoddy but I don't care.

Interesting idea , muffler in the rear & move heat away from seats . . .
