Headlight Mounting Tips?

Anyone have any tips for mounting the headlights/buckets? Mine aren't fitting for ****!

Might also be worth noting, mine are the plastic variety... Has anyone had success with the plastic ones?

Do you have fiberglass or plastic buckets?

My fiberglass ones did not fit too great, but I managed to make it work out. I don't have experience with the plastic ones, but I would think they flex more and you should be able to get it together. Does it seem way off ?

Way off. I've even tried pushing the buckets as far down as possible and the inboard corner of each headlight still pushes the forward corner of each fender up (I've already trimmed the fender)... I may try to mount the inboard bucket mount on the inside of the bumper (instead of it hanging over the edge).

Mine are fiberglass. Didn't try fitting them yet.

I had fiberglass and after a little massaging they fit great.
