Only six months after we shipped the first 818 kit in June, the crew is proud to have built and shipped 818 kit number 100! Almost as exciting, this week we’ve almost completely filled the 2014 production schedule for the 818. There are exactly two spaces left before we begin booking dates for the 818 in 2015!

Nate Johnson and the operations crew are working very hard to increase our production capacity without compromising quality. We estimate that we will be able to bring the unfortunately long lead time down a bit as we enter the new year and ramp up slowly.

Factory Five’s are famous for the quality and design of our chassis. The 818 carries that tradition forward.

Only one week before #100 was built, we also completed the first right-hand-drive 818R destined for Australia.

The right-hand-drive 818S that earned “Top 10 Carbon Cars” at SEMA 2013 is being sent down under to Australia.

Proving the 818′s true world-car status is our right-hand-drive version.

If I didn' tknow better, I'd think 2013 is the end of the world with the way you guys are trying to rack up accomplishments!

FFR is probably still trying to figure out how to bend the laws of physics to accomodate Wookies in the 818 for you! LOLOL
You do realise it's a little tough to mod the body for a guy whose feet extend beyond where the front bumper would normally be! ;)

Is that Joe Scott or a different Joe? I always wonder what the people I email and talk with on the forums look like.
