818R build for the guys at Snap-On Tools. Snap-On Tools has done a ’33 Hot Rod project and a Mk4 Roadster project in the past. The Mk4 was shown at the 2013 SEMA Show a few months ago. Now, after seeing the 818 at SEMA, the crew at Snap-On Tools is going to be road racing and sponsoring a competition 818R.

We will keep you updated on the progress of the 818R build with Snap-On Tools.

While not finalized, the Snap-On 818R build may be carried by Kevin Byrd and the team at Two Guys Garage.

Snap-On Tools set us up with a good selection of tools for the project including these beautiful black shop cabinets. The cabinets were previously demo stock from Dale Jarret’s NASCAR shop.

Who's going to be the one to tell Frankie K that not all real life engineering jobs are as awesome as his internship?

Talk about setting the bar high for the rest of your career!
