Confused - Engine Harness

I was in the process of working on the wiring, and after I planned to take the harness to the car, I noticed something odd. Note I bought a donor pallet, and did not get the engine that came with the rest of the car because of a mix up, but was assured it was an 06 turbo like the one I ordered. The engine is an 06 turbo.

The engine wiring harness has a plug that does not match up to the harness I have. See Picture. Using the wiring guide "WI Wiring Sys.PDF" it appears this plug is for an 2006+ NA engine.... Page 55, plug b21. Can some on confirm this issue or help guide me. I will admit I am tired from multiple days of working on the wiring..... Thank you in advance for any help.

I would get in touch with the people you bought the pallet from If it was me.

That is definitely not from an '06 WRX. IIRC, the '07+ WRX/STI went to that style plug.

07 wrx engine harness, so it does not match a 2006 or older

Thanks, any thoughts on if I have to replace the engine harness with an 06? Any differences with plugs on the engine, etc? ...

The 06 harness is nearly the same as the 2005 harness, the 07 is completely different on the engine plug.
