Agreed, possibly the best racing movie I have ever seen.

A good complement to that movie is a documentary called "1". The rivalry between Hunt and Lauda is part of a larger story, though the budget is much smaller than Rush. They use lots of voice-overs from F1 legends cut with archival footage.

I remember back then when Lauda came back 42 days after the accident thinking "Is he out of his mind?" not realising what "drove" him inside,
The movie explained what we never realised at the time.
