Six Star Cars and Go Green Automotive have been working to test fit everything that Kartboy (http://www2.kartboy.com/x4/home.php?cat=253) and Grimmspeed (http://www.grimmspeed.com/categories/make/subaru/wrx-02-07/) has to offer for the GD Chassis Subaru (WRX/RS) to make 100% sure these parts are compatible with the 818. Some are a no brainer, some will take some testing.

So far from Kartboy all the basic dress up stuff fits perfect:
Battery tie down
Shift knob
Billet crank pulley
Oil Cap

We're working on a bolt on solution to add the pitch stop mount to the 818, stay tuned for that.

From Grimmspeed:
Manual boost controller
Electronic boost controller
Air oil separator
Battery tie down
Oil cap
Billet crank pulley
MAF block off (for running a speed density tune with OEM style intake)
TMIC (to be tested)
PnP exhaust manifolds, crossover and up-pipe all fit beautifully and don't hang below the frame as much as other aftermarket headers
Turbo heat shield
Phenolic spacers
Full intake and exhaust gasket sets
And of course all their porting and coating services

Feel free to ask us anything about these parts, fitment, experience, cost, installation, etc. FFF members can also order direct through these companies or through Six Star Cars. PM, E-mail, or call for prices and information. Also, if there's a picture of an installed part you'd like to see just let us know, THANKS!

I have a question and comment. First the comment: Thank you for taking the time to be proactive. Because of that, you will probably get some business from me!

My question: What is a pitch stop?

it was basically a 3rd motor mount on the Subaru engine between the firewall and the back of the motor. Should have been under the intercooler if you stripped your donor. Limits forward/backward twisting of the motor (I assume this is a result of the horizontally opposed layout?)

(Edit: actually, the attachment point may have been on the transmission right next to the point it mounts to the motor, but I can't recall)

OK. I know the mount; just didn't know what it was called.

Yep, that's the one!

Here are some pictures of the Grimmspeed PnP exhaust manifolds and crossover on our mockup. Since they're created from OEM parts they will fit just like the stock parts on your EJ20/25. There's very little room at the one junction, less with heat shields. So anyone using a flat engine cover will have some rattle/rubbing there. Easy solution would be to shim up the engine a few MM or just let it rub :D

I actually ordered a set of the PnP/Black Ceramic coated exhaust manifolds from Grimmspeed. Just received the manifolds yesterday and waiting to receive the high flow cross over pipe and up-pipe. Anyone considering them I would say go for it. They came out extremely nice and should help contain heat as well as protect from rust.

They come out even nicer if you cut/grind off the heat shield mounts before sending them out for coating.

I'm going to try and use the radiator shroud as well by heating and rebending.

Test fit the alternator cover today and unless you make a bracket for the passenger side it won't work as it originally mounted to the PS pump. To be honest it looks a little silly in there with just the alternator.

What can you do a grimmspeed tmic with coating for as well as do you sell mishimoto? I need a new radiator and fans/shroud and thought of upgrading. Send me s pm.

Thanks!
