Essen Motorshow 2013 in Germany with Hammink Performance

[Hammink Performance]

Hammink Performance, Factory Five’s official European representative located in the Netherlands, has just arrived home from a 9 day stint exhibiting at the Essen Motorshow in Essen, Germany. Hammink Performance has been exhibiting at the Essen show for many years, and this year’s show saw nearly 360,000 attendees – the highest attendance recorded in the last 5 years.
This year’s display included a 5.0L Coyote-powered Mk4 Challenge Car, a 302-powered Mk4, and a full-fendered, Coyote-powered ’33 Hot Rod Coupe which was delivered during the show to its new owner. Check out some photos below!

During the Essen Motor Show we get to meet a lot of interesting new people; for example this very kind German couple with American roots. They are already Factory Five Racing roadster owners, but were very impressed with our display of cars.

Long time Factory Five Racing customers John vd K. & Lionel K. visited the Hammink Performance Booth today.
We discussed progress of their builds as well as registration of their cars.

We've also met our fiends racing driver and team owner Jochen T. and his chief Michael R. at the Essen Motorshow.
The guys from Igel Motorsport are building a truly exiting GTM for the racetrack. The car will feature a 420hp 4cylinder turbo engine, and will also participate in race on Dutch tracks!

A successful show comes to an end! We have to thank our friends from Street Magazine for their amazing support. I can personally say that I have never felt more at home on tour than with these guys, and I am sure Marco Bouwhuis and Jan Hammink feel the same way.
