OK, I am ready to mount the brake reservoir. There is no reference to the fasteners in the book and I can't see any appropriate hardware in the supplied parts. How have others managed to attach this part to the frame?

It is DIY, though I suspect that FFR expect you to mount it on the engine side of the firewall. If you use a single reservoir like they supply with the later kits, if it leaks you will have NO brakes, so I really suggest using two.

You can use rivenuts and 1/4-20 bolts. They should have come with the kit. Or screws see page 91 of manual.

I used some Allen head bolts with riv-nuts. I believe they came with my pedal assembly or clutch quadrant hardware.

I am barely on this forum but I had a question regarding my earlier comments in this thread in a PM. Earlier kits supplied two plastic reservoirs and the geometry of those units are different from the single stainless reservoir that is now provided, and which the OP has. Use of a single reservoir creates a single point of failure for the whole system which negates the point of using two master cylinders, so I suggest getting another but you will need to make your own bracket to mount two of these on the inside of the firewall, or you can put them on the engine side with two penetrations right in front of where you are seated, which I didn't want. Also, the supplied rubber line is not great, so I suggest replacing it with braided. To help clear my comments up, here is a picture of my installation:
