What do I keep from the fuel tank?

The dis-assembly manual only mentions the pump and wiring. There's far more on top of the tank than I expected, with wires to multiple parts. I'm assuming that's the sending unit and some emissions crap. All safe to trash?

pump , screen if it had one and wires is all you will need.

The rest of the items are purge solenoids that link to the charcoal canister and the purge solenoid up front.

Take a look at my post regarding the fuel take it has a bunch of pictures with descriptions. The first picture in post #84 shows the oem WRX fuel assembly with the pump removed.
