Help! lol

I have been working on getting the main body installed and am trying to make sure I mount it correctly so it is as square as possible. I am finding that the body is definitely not symmetrical from side to side. I may be little picky but when I do something, I want to make sure its done correctly and the best way possible. I am sure I have to compromise somewhere along the lines as this body is far from being perfect.

Here is what I got:

I have the car on a level surface with the ride height set and even on each side.
I have the firewall clamped in place and fits well at the body.
I have the rear of the body set at a height per FFR manual that gives me a distance of 45.5" from the front part to the back part of the cab on center.
I am using the center of the taillights as a reference point to get me level from side to side. I used these as I think that is where it will be the most noticeable if one side is higher than the other. With those marks level, the gap between the top of the tire and wheel well is off from side to side. If I level it there, then the taillights are not level.

The question is what's the best mark to go with or do I mount one side and then adjust and force the other side to match? If I do mount one side first and them adjust the other side to the same height, will this put stress on the body and cause problems down the road?

Any help or feedback is appreciated! Thanks,
Charles

If it's a small amount, just split the difference. I usually level the back of the body by measuring the rear corners to the floor.
