I need to run trans oil cooling lines. I can't find or remember seeing if any fittings for the rad were sent or not. That's one. Next is what type of line is recommended. Steel or can I use rubber or braided lines. Finally fitting sizes.

There are no fittings in the kit, I believe they are 3/8" npt. Yes, you can use braided lines (I am with my SBC and 700R) and you can use rubber IF they are high pressure lines, like fuel injection. If you are using rubber lines, a trick from my drag racing days was to use 2 hose clamps clocked opposite to ensure you don't blow one off during hard acceleration.

For my Ford AOD I bought JEG's stainless trans cooling line kit (Specified for a 350 TH) and the individual -6 AN fittings. Problem is the advice from several folks have me with the wrong AOD fitting size. It's a METRIC Trans. Advice was 1/4"NPT. Wrong. Anyone know what's correct?

1/4" npt here. Not sure why yours would be different.
