Sooo, I've got both a Mk3 and a Mk4 here to get body prep and paint. The Mk3 owner prefers a bolt/rivet on scoop while the Mk4 owner would rather have a molded in one. See where I'm heading? I know that the trunk lids interchange but have heard conflicting reports regarding the hoods. I can now answer the question definitively----NO, they do not.
The Mk4 hood has more crown along it's length....

...as well as across the back at the cowl:

So much for that idea. The newest FFR scoop is molded plastic rather than fiberglass like the earlier versions so I am reluctant to try molding it to the hood due to the dissimilar materials but I've got a plan in the works that might just work out for both. Stay tuned ;)
