New member here from Ohio, so hi to everyone.
I am looking at the GASN side pipes with the 3inch core, has anyone installed these on there cobra and if so, how much louder are they than the factory five side pipes?
Thanks for looking.

I have them installed on my 351. They are actually a more mellow sound than the factory pipes. For example, with the FFR pipes I always wore ear plugs due to the volume. I can stand next to my Gas-N pipes comfortabley without ear plugs now. They are a better quality built pipe than the factory units.

Welcome to the forum. I believe that if you really want louder you are going the wrong direction.

Here is a thread from a few weeks ago that had some of the same discussion. I posted a couple of times, including some videos.

23912Thanks for the input. The engine in my Cobra is a 410, so I was wanting to go with a bigger muffler core to help with exhaust flow, but didn't want to wake the dead with it. George at GASN had a 2 1/4, 2 1/2, 2 3/4 and a 3inch cores available, I chose the 2 1/2.
A few pix of the car, hopefully they load from my phone. I am still working on the hood and that is the last part I have to paint. The scoop was really off center so I decided to fix it by cutting it out and molding a new one in. Hopefully I get some time to upload the pix to my build.23911 239102391323914

Not only is your car sweet looking, but so is the Matco toolbox in the background.
