Push start and proximity key

I was thinking about a push button start in my build and thought how nice it would be to have a proximity key as well. My Honda has it and I have gotten used to it!
I spoke to this company and it can be wired just to control ignition (as there aren't any door locks, windows etc to integrate). Has any one done anything similar?

You might want to check on the GTM and 33 boards... Some have installed the ISIS system with remote control which sounds similar. Carl
