I'm getting prepared to fire the engine in the next short while. The heat/Ac unit wont be installed. Can I make a temporary bypass tube from intake to the water pump inlet or should I block both by capping the pump inlet and installing a plug in the intake. My preference would be to make a bypass hose to avoid having to install and replace a NPT fitting in the manifold.

In my mind it should be fine, but am concerned that I'm creating an overheating issue. Again this is only to get engine fired and tested before moving on to finish ac and wiring etc.

You can do it either way Might as well just do a bypass since your planning on a heater anyways.

I just joined the 2 hoses that went to my firewall together for the gocart ride.
