Fiberglass Mold/Mould

It's time to start firming up the body accessories for future prime/paint work.

I'm paying specific attention to the air inlets, tail lights, and rear diffuser area which require attention before Spring.
I'd like to make a fiberglass mold for the air scoops that I purchased to fit over the side glass area.

I'll be checking Google/YouTube for some "How To" tutorials, but I'd be silly not to ask our very own experts on the forum.
I know Steve, and Jason are excellent with this sort of thing. If you can point me to some resources, or share some tips

You want to do all four corners of the windshield. They like to crack when you stretch the body over. Use six - eight ounce cloth not mat. Mat is great for fattening something up but clooth is thinner and stronger. Polyester resin works just as well as vinylester for this. Scratch the area with 40 grit or 36 even 24 if you have it. Your only bond is mechanical tooth so the rougher the better. 4-5 layers of cloth will be enough. thay need to get progressivly bigger to avoid a shrink pattern. DO NOT glop on the resin. There is no strengh in resin, you just want enough to wet the glass. Use a 2in chip brash to stipple the cloth. This brings out the bubbles and excess resin...da Bat

Thanks for that info on the windshield. I was going to address that once I finished up the hood, and passenger side body work. I've already replaced the windshield
once for damage, so having it break during installation will just set me off! This is the gap I'm dealing with at the moment, so hopefully your instructions will help align
everything.
