I am finding good deals on 2000 to 2002 Foresters with 5 speed manual transmission. I already have an EZ30d engine. So far from what I can tell the gauge cluster is different and the L model has drum brakes in the back. Can anyone think of a good reason to avoid these "2nd" tier cars.

Thank you in advance. IMO you have already listed them. wiring should not be an issue since you will need a ECU from Wayne IMO.
