View Full Version : Invisible roll bar connection

Someone very kindly pointed out a supplier of an invisible roll bar connector that negates the use of the ugly bolt joining the hoop with the back brace. However it seems this is only available for the FFR 1.5" roll bar. I plan to use the 1.75" Breeze bars as they are angled and not so tall. Is there any method that can be used with these roll bars that allows easy removal in case body has to come off?
If you look closely at the Tangent kit, you could make your own.

The design of the Breeze roll bar is different. The rear (angled) leg is welded in place, so no connector hidden or otherwise is required. Still can be removed in case body has to come off. Further details and explanation here:

So I am worrying over nothing! So the connection just below the body could have a bolted connection I assume, allowing it to be removed?

Yes, that's my understanding. I have the Breeze setup in the box for my Mk4 build. but it's going to months before I get into it and have first hand knowledge.
