It's Here! Stewart delivered last night but wouldn't go up my drive so had to put it on a flat bed but that's a small problem as I was prepared for it. He said to me while driving here "I looked at your place on google earth and all I see is trees, are they tall enough for me to get in?" I said " there about 80' plus but they are kinda close to the road!" Anyhow helpers are ready to begin and we started inventory which I hope to finish this weekend and get the body off, hung up, and get the frame off and on the jack stands. Gotta get some bowhunting in though too, peak rut here in N.W. Wis. Got a long cold winter ahead to work on the car. One more exciting delivery from Mike Forte and we'll be all set.(hope I did the pictures right, I'm not a computer guru)

Exciting times! I am worried when it comes to my delivery. If the truck can't get to my garage do they just dump the crate as close as possible and you'd have to carry in piece by piece? Guess I would need some dolly's or something to roll the body/chassis to my shop.
What engine did you go for?

I don't know who's more excited: you or the kids! Congrats, and enjoy the early Xmas presents. WEK.

Talked to Mike Forte and he's shipping a 306, T5, and 3.55 rear axle. Talked to him on the phone and was very sharp and also a like minded individual on other things. We chatted quite a while. Just plan on cruising around, no racing so although we all would like more horses I think this is a great place for me to start. Lot's of cold winters to come to make upgrades.
Got the chassis on the jack stands tonight after the kids were in bed. They're great but can ask a lot of questions and when you are doing something that takes a little thought it can wear you out! Had to lift the chassis from the ceiling with heavy ratchet straps just enough to pull the trailer out then use the floor jack to lower the chassis onto the jack stands. Probably not OSHA approved but it worked!
