All right weather looks great, Chris Ronnie, Dave Smith and Gary Cheney are all heading south for the show. The FFR big rig will be loaded with all kinds of cool things. We have a few spots left for Saturday, email us if you can join us. See you all next week.

Just a reminder about some of the great things going on next week at the Food Lion AutoFair…
Car Club Poker Run – The car club poker run will be hosted by Ford Owner’s Association on Friday, April 8 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. at Roush Fenway Racing. Registration will remain open until 10:30 a.m. The stops on the run will be at NASCAR Hall of Fame, Hendrick Motorsports, and Doug Herbert Performance Part (Concord). The poker run will end at the zMAX Dragway pavilion. At the dragway you will be allowed to drive your cars down the track from 3:00 – 5:00pm (weather permitting). This is sure to be a fun event and entry is only $10 and all money goes to Speedway Children’s Charities.
Speedway Children’s Charities Sock Hop – The SCC Sock Hop will take place in the Speedway Club on Saturday, April 9 from 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Attached is a flyer about the Sock Hop. Be sure to let all your members know! You can purchase tickets for this event by calling The Speedway Club at 704.455.3216.
Drive at the Dragway – All car club members are invited to drive your car at the zMAX Dragway on Friday, April 8 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Cost is $10 per car. If you participate in the Car Club Poker Run you will receive free admission! All proceeds benefit Speedway Children’s Charities.

Here is a lunch option in the A/C if you are interested. It sold out last year, I never knew a buffet could sell out. Make reservations if you are interested.

We are offering a buffet in the dining room for lunch on (Friday and Saturday) and Casual Dining in the lounge every day – Sunday we serve Brunch from 11:00 until 2:00.

I keep checking the weather and it looks like it's going to be near perfect. Maybe a little on the warm side but I don't think we'll hear the Massachusetts boys complaining. See ya'll there.

Weather looks great the FFR crew is heading down to hang with us locals. We have an extra reservation at Hilton Garden Inn on Gateway near the track for Fri and Sat. If you need a room let me know by email before we cancel it. Queen with queen sleeper

Chris made it down safely with the FFR Big Rig, Ralph and Glen Martin brought their GTM and we will add two more roadsters to the line up tomorrow. Saturday we will have 25 FFR's staged on Pit Row at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Come out and join us.
