Ray, does it ever get cold enough in San Diego for a jacket?
Oh yeah.....Last month when we drove up to the USS Iowa and met the Orange County guys in EL Toro. Foggy (and of course I don't have wipers or a defroster.) Then there are the October-November-December-January runs to the mountains. Get's into the high 30's at times. So, yeah, jackets do come in handy.

Not leather but it is a Made in the USA Carhartt Winter Jacket. Dave Smith was kind enough to let me use the 15 year logo to have one made.

I'd be in for a nice leather jacket, or one of those fleece pullovers with the FFR logo. I've seen leather jackets with logos embossed on them and they look REALLY sharp. Perhaps we can have a show of hands and see if Dave and the crew at FFR will look into adding some new items to their store.

If you want something with the Factory Five logo, you will have to request it direct from FFR or ask Dave's permission for someone else to make something using the logo. As Ray posted above, I carry several different jackets that I can put any of my designs on, I can get almost any kind of jacket you want and/or I can make a custom design if that is what anyone wants. I'm a vendor here, let me know if I can help...

Personally, I would like something with FFR's logo or name. The caricture-type pictures that I've seen on ted's work aren't my cup of tea.

I was at a show this weekend and all of the Corvette, Viper, Lambo, and Ferrari folks had their leather on.
I would love to have one with the Factory five logo tastefully on the front left chest or on the back.
I think there are enough owners who would want one to make it worthwhile.
Somebody come thru for us!!

I think a nice leather "flight jacket," with the Factory Five logo on the left breast and an American flag on the left or right shoulder would look great!
We could put our name and our FFR Build number on the jacket as well, if so desired.
Would be pricey to stock, but could likely be drop shipped as necessary.
It could be pretty nice. My $.02.

I close my eyes, and I picture a jacket with a nice embossed FFR logo (or scripted name) across the back and an individual (colored) sewn-on patch on the front left side specific to the vehicle you own.
These are embossed logos on leather to give you an idea of what I'm thinking:

I'm also thinking a leather jacket with a modern design though -- not your typical old-man style bomber like what's in the Corvette picture above.
