The box that my FFMetal battery box came in. I remember seeing rivets and grommets in it. Can anybody tell be the sizes of each? Also were the rivets steel or alum.

Thanks,
Mike.

Note to self, keep wife out of my side of the garage.

1/8 and 3/16. Not sure, but I think aluminum.

Do the 3/16th ones go into the 3/4 tubes?

I have one of those. The 1/8 aluminum rivets were for the box sides to hold it together and the 3/16 went into the 3/4 tubes to suspend the box from the chassis. There are also two vertical rods w/nuts and a bar that goes across the top to hold down the battery. (Also two grommets to protect the cables going through the box holes.) By the way, drilling 3/16" holes between the front and back 3/4 frame can be a challenge without a right angle drill and short bit...

Roger that on the 90 degree drill. Box is in and secure. Need to trim the hold down edges on the bottom of the battery. Then connect up the battery ahd fire it up.

Installation not to bad in a completed car.
