Engine height

Ive just recieved my Roadster kit and am realising that my 302 with GT40 heads and manifold plus the 1" thermal spacer may be to much to fit into the available height. Have you any experience with this configuration
I would prefer to keep the phenolic spacer as I have eliminated the EGR spacer in an attempt to keep the incoming charge a little cooler.

Agreed - I would expect that to clear in a Roadster. Coupes can be tricky with more limited clearance, but a Roadster should be fine.
