Cruise Control delete?

Am still in the middle of the arduous process of "dieting" my donor WRX wiring harness. I have decided to keep, for now, the Keyless entry module and wires, in case its absence would immobilize the engine. Now for the CRU unit. I will not be incorporating the cruise control motor etc. in my 818 build. Anyone know if I can delete the CRU unit and all wires to source? I am wondering if the speedometer or other device might be affected.

I have a 02 harness:
No abs anything wires: no abs light
No cruise wires : no cruise lights etc
No door wires, radio, heating wires: no lights
No airbag anything wires: airbag light ( on a non digital cluster, most wrx ones, u can remove the bulb, cover it etc to get ride of it. Sti semi digital clusters are a bit more complicated and you must dissemble the cluster to get to the led bulb that's part of the wire board. This goes for the rear diff light on the Sti cluster also.

I am starting my 02 harness diet. Waiting for Fate066 to send me the diagrams. I have the subaru manual from the Nasioc site, but am hoping for pinout for the connectors which would make it easier.
It would be great if you could list more of the items you deleted without any problems - as you did above.
I haven't seen any good posts confirming exactly what will or won't work. Alot are using VCP wiring harness, and I have seen alot of guessing, but not for sure.
I am deleting the following:
A/C
PS
TGV
EGT
Airbags
Power doorlocks and windows
compass mirror

I don't need door chimes or anything, but I haven't seen confirmation for sure if Delete is OK - did you delete these?

Might keep security (and then I need the door switches per Mechie3)
Keeping:
heated seats
ABS
cruise
Ventilation for heater (might try to use wrx vent system if there is room?)

Have you deleted any of the above without problems?
Any response would be helpful.

Nice build. Also I like your exhaust routing through the mesh.....rumours are you may become a vendor for that??:)
