yes as long as it is from a v-8 car
Here is a post I made a while back on the other forum
Short and Long Answers
I’ve been doing some research myself in order to respond to an advertisement on craigslist.
Short answers
Best salvage yard T-5 transmissions
'90-'93 Mustang V-8, T-5 are strongest with better shifting with Torque rating at 300 ft/lbs.
The '93 Mustang 'Cobra' was even better with tapered front bearings and rated at 310 ft/lbs.
'85-'89 are still a good choice. These are torque rated at 265 ft/lbs.
Pre-'85 are weaker T-5 - don't use - Torque rating at 240ft/lbs. input shaft(pilot) measured at 0.59"
'85 and up are considered 'World Class' - measure input shafts(pilot) at 0.668"
'94-'95 Mustang T-5 Longer Input Shaft and Bell Housing to match - this placed the shifter further back for the new Mustang body.
The Ford Racing Upgraded Super-Duty T-5 is listed at 300 ft/lbs. - just got this from the 2010 catalog - List price at $1369

To add to Marks answer, it is a good transmission and will work. Take a micrometer with you to measure the pilot diameter of the transmissions input shaft.
