First wanted to say I am just starting to work on a gen 1 gtm that has bounced around from a few shops. Now I am trying to sort out the problems that were "too hard" to get working. I have been searching the forums and Google quite a bit and haven't found what I'm looking for yet.

I'm having an issue with the 45° line from the ac block hitting the headers. I'm not sure if the lines have been redesigned since these were purchased I believe it was all purchased in 2006/2007. I did see one guy with a fix and would buy that part or similar if its available. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

This is the one I saw on another build

And the bottom one is what I currently have.

Thanks,

Shane sells what you are looking for. Go to the bottom of the GTM parts page and its $60.

Well unfortunately I found out from Shane today that he no longer has the part available. Any other suggestions?

True.... I need to get that item off my website as the company that was making those for me has stopped making those and will not make them for me again......I've spent hours on the phone trying to figure out why the company won't make them or where I can get more made, but have come up empty.

I have not had a car in here with all the right parts on it to verify this 100%, but if you have the newer AC hoses provided with the kit, and the latest revision of the Kooks headers, you should not need this part......the provided AC manifold block and headers should have clearance.....but for the older AC hoses and the earlier versions of the Kooks header, there may be clearance issues.

Are you sure you aren't going to need that?

I took that manifold to NAPA to splice it to the FFR supplied hose assembly and they wouldn't touch it. They only work with Weatherhead fittings and didn't want the liability of using a Weatherhead crimper on Parker hose. I could have searched for someone who had Parker crimping equipment but decided to try the FFR supplied Hose assembly. MY FFR supplied assembly and manifold fit just as well as the (aftermarket) unit so I installed it.
