She was delivered in June and I started her last night!!!! It has been a blast so far but still have a ways to go before I can call it done. Taking her for a test drive today if the weather permits then I will start cleaning her up and slap the body on.

I'm glad I found this thread. I am planning a build with a Coyote engine. The big thing I am worried about is the lack of foot room in the wells.
Where did you get your IRS?

I bought it with the kit from FFR. I went to the junk yard and pulled a pumkin out of a Thunderbird and completely rebuilt it and had it powder coated. And yes it is a tight fit but it is possible!!!

How is legroom or width next to accelerator pedal? Heard it is tight with the Coyote

I modified the footbox to make it wider. Unless you are a 10 year old girl it is pretty much necessary! Wasn't that hard to do just used some extra aluminum from the old panels I had laying around.

Congrats on first start -- it's a big milestone, but you still have a way to go...

Regarding the Coyote engine -- it's a tight fit under the hood, and you will need to contact FF to have them provide the right piece of sheet metal for the driver's footwell. I used the Ford-supplied gas pedal with minor mods, and ignored the FF instructions about kluging their pedal onto the body of the Ford throttle. I'm 6'1" and don't have any problem getting my size 11 1/2 feet onto the right pedals.
