Any interest in embroidered shirts with the 818?

Is there any interest in having an 818 embroidered design for shirts/hats/etc?

If someone has a picture they are willing to let me use for reproduction, I will be happy
to have it digitized and offer whatever you guys might be looking for. It typically takes
a couple of days to convert the image, after that, anything is possible. You can see
our existing designs and our current garment types in the link in my signature. Thanks!

I'm sure you will quite a bit of interest. Once people can see (and touch) the quality of your work the demand will increase even more.

It's OK as long as I do not use their copyrighted images or names.... Dave knows the
work that we do as is OK with it.

By 'cartooning' the image, it becomes an artist rendition. At the same time, we usually
put your chassis number under the logo which makes it a representation of your
personal vehicle instead of a generic.

Here's a picture of a hat that Ted did for me about 5 years ago (my wife and I have matching hats). He also did the same logos on polo shirts and included our names. Great when you go to a car show - not only do they recognize you as the owner of the car they also know your first name.

Ted, do you have some designs we can look at? I'm personally only interested in tshirts, but I'm sure others would be interested in more. I'm thinking I'd like to have some before I finish my build - to give to people who help me, and for when I may show it at gatherings, etc.

Hat yes. I had hoped that there was going to be some cool 818 apparel. I wasn't too keen on the "modern" shirt designs as they reminded me too much of the Affliction etc stuff everyone is wearing today.

Looking forward to some new shirt designs.

If you read my first post, I'm looking for images that people will let me use as a basis for the design.

More specifically, we typically use a 3/4 front view of the car. I then have an artist friend 'cartoon' the design
similar to the way Carl Greatrix does. Once we have the cartoon, then I have it converted into something the
embroidery machine understands and away we go. For the iBuild printed shirts I offer, one of the ffcars forum members took my image an created a photoshop file for me that I can change the body colors and add or remove stripes. That would be down the road a bit, I'd like to start with an embroidery design first and go from there.

If you look at SilverTop's avatar, something like that would work but preferably more of a 3/4 angle from the front. That image might also work as the basis for a design with stripes as opposed to a solid color.
