View Full Version : What is "80089 Top Tube Assembly"?

I'm learning that there are various names and numbers for the same part in the Assembly Manual and order sheets used for inventory.

I'm sending out all my powder coat parts and the last item on page 57 in the manual, Kit Parts Prep, says there are 2 of these. Are we talking the Shock Tower Support (which is already coated on my kit)? Or, since it says there are 2, something else?

The digital version search comes up with only this one reference. And I went through my order sheets, NG. I'm sure it's something obvious, just missing it...

Otherwise, the only thing missing (if not Back Ordered) in my whole kit was one 1/4-20 bolt and that was a vendor issue! Nice work FFR!

I just went through my inventory list twice and can't find 80089

Yeah, the only reference to that part number and name that I can find is on the list of things to be powder coated. At least your inventory list is like mine in its absence. Thanks for spending the time to look.

A check with the guys in Engineering at FFR shows this part and number were separate in the prototype and integrated in production. So we can disregard the reference on page 57 to having it powder coated
