Great treat today...

Mike drove 3 hours each way to come for a half day visit today. The return trip was in the rain. Didn't seem to phase him much though. We had a nice visit and traded stories, tips, ideas and had lunch. Mike was the very first coupe owner I met when I was deciding whether the build or not. He knows his car inside out! Great guy too!

That was a fun day and really good to see Marc's work up close. I think his skills and attention to detail rival the best of any of builders here. I also got to see his impressive dioramas too.

Now I've lots more ideas to do (or re-do!). Weather was not a great forecast, but had to get in one more long run before the snow comes.

Funny about these cars - just watching the Top Gear about italian passion for supercars. Think that equally applies to ours too.

Thanks, Marc

Hi Fluge

The car looks awesome, glad you decieded keep it and not sell it! I hope to see it in person some day. Mike's coupe was the first one I saw in person, he was kind enough to let me look it over and answer all of my questions and of course we went for a drive as well - thanks again Mike. I still don't have a coupe - yet, hopefully in spring.

Thanks.

This project has been a huge amount of work for me but I loved (almost) every minute of it.

Few moments stand out in this whole experience like my visits with Mike and Greg in Toronto, the day I took delivery. The most recent one was watching Mike drive away down the street. Sure is a thing of beauty watching one of these cars rolling by. We don't see enough to ever get tired of looking.

The garage wasn't always like that. I started the build in a cramped corner of the garage with a 6 foot bench. I couldn't even open the car doors all the way. It underwent several upgrades over the soon to be 6 years.

I'm glad I didn't sell it too.
