I park my SRT6 under the 4 post not a MK but about the same size. I bought the Worth 7K# tall because they narrowed it to 8'6" inside for free.
That leaves a lot more useable garage and the lift has commercial type safeties <> much better than all the homeowner type lifts.

I use a bendpak http://www.bendpak.com/car-lifts/four-post-lifts/

Bendpak here, too. Just had this installed last week. It's the HD-9, four-post stand-alone with a 9,000 lb capacity and a 6" walk-under height. I also ordered a jacking bridge so I can put a car on jackstands on the lift, then lower the lift to a comfortable working height for things like brakes and suspension.

This is the wide (standard) version that is approximately 103" between the posts. They make a narrower version for use in a two-car garage. I only went with this version so that I could put a car on my open trailer, then roll all that under the lift while another car is stored on top... three vehicles in a single space!

Keep in mind that all FF's sit low and mine and the BP shown and pretty much any lift will need much longer ramps to keep sidepipes body/frame etc from dragging while loading them. Mine's a 3 car wide garage with a tandem deep bay but I still didn't want to give up the floorspace and you could always go 9' inside and still load any legal wide vehicle on it. The car in the trailer on the lift is a neat trick but you do need lots of headroom for that deal and the 9K # is crucial then too. My main thing was to avoid the homeowners types with lock rods across the ends because they get bent and then don't deploy and avoid the locks that need air to release because that adds another thing to deal with. Pay the price to get a commercial unit and pay attention to walk under height, load rating, width between and around, jackbridges etc. this is where the details pay off in the long run, well after the price is forgotten.

Does anybody know anything about Direct-Lift 4 post hoists? I am looking at the Pro-Pack 8S, it seems to be pretty good for the price.

Thanks John
